Grilling Is Fun Again!

I used to hate grilling on my old grill. I think it had a lot to do with the fact that it was old and falling apart, but it also did not help that I could not seem to get it to heat up evenly. This caused my food to be undercooked on the inside, and overcooked on the outside. Not something you want, especially for an avid griller like me.

I knew I needed a change, and I needed it fast because if I had to babysit that grill every minute it was on, I was going to break it myself just so I could get a new one. Luckily my sweet wife saw what I was going through and got me a brand new grill to cook on.

I was thrilled! This was not just any grill either, it was a Weber Genesis S-330 Liquid Propane gas grill, and I had wanted one of those since they came out at the beginning of 2011. I was so shocked I think I may have cried a little!

As soon as I started grilling on it I was no longer the miserable grill cook who, despite his efforts, just could not cook. Now grilling is fun again and I have made some really great food for me and my family lately. One of the things that I specialize in is steak, and guess what? It comes out nice and evenly cooked!

I have a lot more recipes to try and I hope to get to them before too long, but it seems like I just don’t have the time to cook everything I want to. I guess I will have to either grill for more people, or wait and do some recipes throughout the year. Either way it will be a great year!
